The Archive has a rich content specific to presidential duties and functions. It contains in particular materials regarding the War of Independence and the early history of the Republic. It houses special collections concerning Ataturk’s private life, the Independence Tribunals and rebellions.

Application and Examination Procedures:
Situated in the Presidential Campus in Çankaya, Ankara, the archive does not allow an online catalogue search. The researcher should write down an information request, which describes in detail the topic of the research and is addressed to the Turkish Presidency Secretariat General and send it there. If the archive has sources regarding the subject of the research, the documents are copied on a CD and sent to the researcher’s address.
